Prachi Talati, PT Intern, BPT
I graduated from Gujarat University in India with a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy. I moved to Fort McMurray in November 2021 where I plan to excel in my career further by becoming part of the most valued and recognized team in this beautiful city. During my school neurology and orthopedics have always piqued my interest. I have experience in treating a wide variety of conditions (Cardiovascular, Musculoskeletal, Neurological and Post/Pre Surgical) using Manual Physical Therapy.
When treating a patient my goal is always to generate a customized treatment plan for a swift recovery and get them back to their healthy lifestyle. For me, patient education has always been an important component of the treatment plan along with rehabilitative exercise. Based on the patient’s preliminary assessment I will use a combination of techniques such as mulligan therapy, soft tissue mobilization, deep friction massage, and various other Manual and Physical Therapy techniques to address the patient’s problem. I am very passionate about learning new techniques via external courses or research to keep my skills up to date for the betterment of patients’ health.
Outside of work, I maintain a healthy lifestyle by going to the gym, swimming, and participating in outdoor activities.
